Happy Thanksgiving everyone! If you know me, you know I love wearing dresses, but typically this season calls for plaid, jewel toned sweaters, textured skirts + pants. This year, it’s been uncharacteristically warm, so I decided to pair textured accessories with this neutral wrap dress from Top Shop. I picked this up back in August when my boyfriend, Shane, and I went to New York on vacation. Wrap dresses are flattering on many body types and ultra comfy, especially this one since it’s made of polyester. The frills on the sleeves and outer edge of the skirt were a big reason why I liked it too!
I picked up this versatile bag from The Real Canadian Superstore, surprising huh? I think it’s perfect for times when you’re going to pick up a few items from the store, and really suits this time of year. These camel coloured western booties are from Revolve and by Dolce Vita. This particular pair are from last fall, but these and these are very similar, and available now. I’ve been loving western type pieces, whether it’s a little fringe, suede skirt, or hat!
My parents gifted me this yellow gold necklace from Wharram’s Jewellery in Leamington, Ontario, for my birthday in July. I’m also wearing the matching bracelet that my boyfriend gifted to me on the opposite arm photographed. When Shane and I visited New York, I purchased this medallion necklace, which I noticed popping up on other influencers. I like to think it’s a nod to Parisienne style, and can be paired with many other outfits while looking beautiful on it’s own as well.
What are some pieces you’re loving this fall? Do you have a favourite brand of wrap dress? Let me know in the comments below!
I agree that wrap dresses are easy to wear! Dresses in general feel easy because it’s one piece and you’re done vs finding pants and a top that go well together.
Love the tips on the western pieces.
